Welcome to Paramount Unified School District. Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Assistant Principal, Athletics and Athletics Director. The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in leading and managing the flag football program. This includes developing the skills of student-athletes, fostering teamwork, ensuring the physical and mental well-being of players, and promoting academic achievement alongside athletic success. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the head coach, athletics director, school administration, staff, and the community to ensure a positive and supportive environment for all participants.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Previous coaching experience at the high school or higher level; Strong knowledge of coaching rules, techniques, and strategies; Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills; Ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes; Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive team environment. Licenses & Other Requirements: Must possess a valid CPR and First Aid certification; Must pass a background check and complete all district and CIF required training and certifications. ** Must include professional/character/volunteer references on applications (contact information: name, job title, and contact information)** Incomplete applications will not be considered.
