Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in person and over the phone to understand their Roofing needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Drive to customers on designated routes, ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining excellent customer relations
- Conduct merchandising activities to display products attractively and ensure stock levels meet demand
- Utilize strong communication skills to upsell additional products or services that benefit the customer and increase sales revenue
- Perform heavy lifting when handling inventory, supplies, or promotional materials to support daily operations
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, route deliveries, and customer interactions for organizational efficiency
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and fostering positive relationships
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is highly preferred
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and sales transactions
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with customers and team members alike
- Organizational skills to manage routes effectively and keep detailed records of sales activities
- Previous experience in sales or customer service roles is advantageous; military background is a plus due to discipline and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license with experience in route driving; familiarity with merchandising standards is beneficial
