What are the responsibilities and job description for the Settlement Planning Case Assistant position at Paramount Settlement Advisors?
Who We Are
Paramount Settlement Advisors is a leading settlement planning provider partnering with personal injury law firms to deliver planning-first solutions for plaintiffs and their families. Our work incorporates complex legal review, public benefit analysis, and planning strategies designed to protect clients’ long-term interests at the time of settlement and beyond. Our focus is to provide services that help ensure accurate and complete health insurance liens associated with personal injury recoveries, while supporting plaintiffs as they transition to life after settlement. Our lien resolution and settlement planning teams work closely together, so attorneys and plaintiffs receive clear, consistent guidance and can move through the settlement process with confidence.
At Paramount, culture is the engine that powers our performance. We value sound judgment over shortcuts, clarity over convenience, and truth over comfort. Our goal is to help our clients achieve better outcomes and set best-practice standards in a profession where accuracy is as important as advocacy.
Who We Are Looking For
Paramount is seeking a candidate who demonstrates initiative and accountability, consistently following through on responsibilities without the need for repeated direction, while working within defined channels of authority. The candidate would apply these traits by proactively following up to obtain outstanding documents, independently identifying and resolving discrepancies in materials, and ensuring that all information is complete and accurate before it is advanced for additional internal action. The ideal candidate communicates clearly and professionally with both internal and external sources, maintains a high standard of accuracy across all case files, and understands the importance of detail-oriented work in achieving reliable outcomes. This role requires comfort operating within a structured process, where accuracy, organization, and professional responsibility directly impact the quality of service delivered to Paramount’s clients.

- Proof and prepare physical and digital illustrative and presentation materials for client meetings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clarity for client understanding.
o Case File Management & Documentation
- Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date case files in case management software across all assigned cases, adhering to firm standards for document naming, version control, and storage.
