As a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Specialist at Paramount Pressing & Plating, you will operate in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse and production environment supporting our vinyl record manufacturing operations. You will play a key role in managing the flow of materials and finished products, ensuring shipments go out on time, maintaining organized inventory, and ensuring both domestic and international logistics run smoothly. This role involves inventory accuracy, order processing, quality control, and shipping logistics for customer orders, including record labels, distributors, and direct-to-artist shipments. You will report directly to the Head of Operations and work closely with the production and packaging team.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control & Receiving:
- Accept and inspect inbound materials (raw materials, jackets, inserts, shrink wrap, stickers, etc.) and work with the Packaging Specialist for accuracy, quality, and to verify counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts of stock components, packaging materials, and shipping supplies.
- Organize inventory within the warehouse for easy access.
- Track overages, shortages, and damaged goods, and support inventory reporting for the Head of Operations.
Order Fulfillment & Shipping:
- Work with the Packaging Specialist and Head of Operations to package and label outgoing finished vinyl record shipments according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with domestic and international carrier requirements.
- Prepare all required documentation (shipping labels, BOLs, packing slips, commercial invoices), schedule and track all domestic and international freight and parcel shipments, working with carriers such as UPS, FedEx,and LTL freight providers.
Quality Control & Operational Support:
- Verify the accuracy of order quantities, packaging components, and special requests.
- Work closely with the production and packaging teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time order fulfillment.
- Provide daily updates to the Head of Operations regarding order status and inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, follow all safety protocols, and assist with workflow improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Take a proactive approach to identifying and reporting issues, such as defective products or material shortages.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping/receiving.
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipping carriers, tracking systems, and freight scheduling.
- Experience with inventory systems, barcode scanning equipment, and shipping platforms.
- Basic computer proficiency (spreadsheets, inventory software, shipping platforms) for tracking shipments and updating inventory records.
- Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for quality control, especially when handling multiple SKUs and custom packaging configurations.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment where priorities evolve.
- Clear communication and ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to follow instructions, stay self-directed when needed, and maintain dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift and move products (up to 50 lbs.) and remain on your feet for extended periods while working efficiently and safely.
- Forklift experience or certification is preferred.
Shift and Schedule
- This is a full-time position.
- Must be available to work 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, with the possibility of overtime or weekends as needed.
- Shifts may vary based on production needs.
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to commute to the facility to meet your scheduled shifts consistently.
