Qualifications of a Industrial Boiler Technician:
- 3 Years of Commercial/Industrial Boiler or HVAC Service experience required
- Experience with Boilers, Burners, Gas/Propane, or Pipefitting required
- One of the following; RI: Pipefitter I, Natural Gas or Propane License, OR MA: JM Pipefitter or Gas Fitter License required
- RI Master Pipefitter License preferred
- MA Master Gas Fitter or Pipefitter License preferred

Responsibilities of a Industrial Boiler Technician:
- This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial boilers, burners, and heating systems
- Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, combustion, and piping issues; repairing and replacing boilers, burners, pumps, valves, controls, heat exchangers, furnaces, water heaters, and related equipment
- Additional duties include performing boiler replacements, start-ups, fuel conversions, and preventative maintenance and reading blueprints and electrical schematics
- Work may include servicing commercial and industrial facilities, office buildings, schools, hospitals, manufacturing plants, municipalities, retail centers, and other institutional buildings
