Qualifications Generator Service Technicians:
- 2 Years of Generator Repair Maintenance, or Service Experience required
- Experience diagnosing and servicing on Generators between 8.5kw - 3500kw strongly preferred
- Experience with Mechanical, Diesel, Electrical, Fuel, Cooling systems, and Load Bank Testing preferred
- Experience with Cummins, CAT, Kohler, and Generac Generators preferred
Position Offers:

Responsibilities of Generator Service Technicians:
- This role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining standby and continuous-duty generators
- Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance and field repairs, and inspecting fuel, cooling, and electrical systems
- Additional duties include load bank testing, rebuilding or modifying generator systems, and servicing generators and fire pump drivers
- Checks and maintains stock of generator repair parts and notifies supervisor of possible shortages
