Electrical Construction Estimator Requirements:

• 4 Years of Commercial/Industrial Electrical Estimating experience required
• Commercial Electrical Systems / NEC Code experience required
• Experience with Estimating/Takeoff Software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, CountFire, Excel required
• Experience with Commercial, Multifamily, Healthcare, Institutional, or Mixed Use Construction- Division 01, 26, 27, 28 Projects preferred
• Fire Alarm, Emergency Power, or Utility Coordination experience preferred

Electrical Construction Estimator Responsibilities:

• Preparing electrical estimates and supporting bids for commercial, multifamily, and institutional projects
• Responsibilities include reviewing plans, identifying missing or unclear scope, and flagging risks or inconsistencies in bids
• Additional duties include reviewing drawings and specs, takeoffs, building budgets, preparing bids, identifying risks, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for pricing, and supporting preconstruction, bid reviews, project handoff, procurement, and change orders
• Work includes Divisions 01, 26, 27, and 28, and systems such as power, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, and site electrical.
