Sr Financial Analyst, Theatrical Marketing Finance

Overview and Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Theatrical International Marketing Finance team. This person will manage the day-to-day operations involved with the ultimates/budgets on each film and be the main liason for the territories.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Update/maintain title financials/ultimates as needed in the Hyperion system
• Upload financials/ultimates to Corporate Planning in the Hyperion system
• Forecasting savings/overages quarterly
• Forecasting PPI title expenses/accruals
• Manage/perform quarter end process (reviewing titles via MRC reporting, researching issues, coordinating w/ territories on final spend/revenue, updating titles)
• Manage box office estimates and coordinate with Distribution as necessary
• Handle PPI accruals as needed (at least quarterly)
• Manage/perform final estimates process for titles
• Main contact for PPI territories and sub distributors
• Handle the license fees process and coordinate with Distribution as needed
• Systems point of contact/super user (IRIS, Hyperion)
• Ad Hoc Reporting
• Ad Hoc analysis/projects
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred
• Excel knowledge
• 4-5 years of relative experience

Additional Information

Hiring Salary Range: $65,000.00 - 80,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
