Paramount Home Health Care is currently seeking a dedicated, experienced Pediatric Caregiver to support a 21-year-old young man with autism in a home setting in Tampa, Florida. While the client is a young adult, the care approach aligns closely with pediatric-style support, requiring patience, structure, and strong behavioral guidance skills.

While the client is a young adult, the care approach aligns closely with pediatric-style support, requiring patience, structure, and strong behavioral guidance skills.
We are preferably seeking a male caregiver for compatibility; however, female caregivers with a strong personality and proven experience managing behavioral challenges are strongly encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will provide hands-on support while promoting independence, safety, and emotional stability in a structured environment. Duties include:

- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Providing behavioral support, redirection, and de-escalation techniques when needed
- Implementing structured routines and engaging activities appropriate for autism care
- Supporting meal preparation and feeding assistance if required
- Completing light housekeeping tasks related to the client’s care
- Maintaining a calm, safe, and respectful environment at all times
- Encouraging positive interactions and communication development
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with pediatric care, autism, or behavioral clients is REQUIRED
- Strong ability to stay calm, patient, and assertive in challenging situations
- Confident in setting boundaries and using redirection techniques
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistency
- Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented
- Ability to follow care plans and document services accurately
