Paramount Home Health is hiring a PRN RN with mental health experience to care for our geriatric Alzheimer's population in three Greater Pittsburgh assisted living facilities. Responsibilities
- Help patients who are having mental health challenges or ongoing mental illness.
- Make goals and care plans to improve patients' mental and behavioral health.
- Teach patients and their families or caregivers about their care.
- Work with doctors, families, and the home health team to coordinate care.
- Complete all required paperwork according to agency rules.
- Join training sessions and team meetings.
Requirements
- A current nurse license in Pennsylvania that's in good standing.
- Experience helping people with mental health issues.
- Experience visiting patients in their homes for care.
- Experience working with older adults who have memory problems like Alzheimer's (preferred).
