Job Summary
The Facility Maintenance will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned building and property.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general maintenance of building such as basic electrical, basic plumbing, painting, plaster/drywall, light carpentry, light masonry work, landscaping to include snow removal, possible appliance repairs and flooring.
- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Handling tasks related to plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Maintain tools and workplace so that shop conditions are neat and orderly.
- Use of variety of hand and power tools and test instruments.
- NOTE: Job may require on-call duty, extended hours, or weekend work
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least three (3) years of hands-on experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing environment, or any equivalent combination of education and work experience
