Summary: Responsible for soliciting insurance by telephoning prospective clients by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * 2. Maintains operations by following company policies and procedures. * 3. Calls prospective clients by operating telephone and computer programs. * Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, & Microsoft Excel. Have an average typing speed of 65 to 75 WPM.
