Job Title: Account Coordinator
Department: Processing
Summary: Maintains the company’s existing relationship with clients and aids with policy services needs. Assists Sales Agents timely and organized manner.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Corresponding with various insurance carriers regarding endorsements and policy change requests.
2. Updates client/Policy activity on agency management system (Applied EPIC experience is a plus).
3. Prepare required loss runs authorization letters for various policies (worker’s compensation, auto, update supplementals, general liability) and order loss runs.
4. Update policy information on EPIC.
5. Effectively communicate with Sales Agents on updates for policies.
6. Provide customer service which includes day to day communication with clients and insured customers.
7. Assist with data entry.
8. Assist with Commercial Auto
9. Scanning and inputting files into computer system. Organizing files for agent in timely manner.
10. Other tasks as assigned
11. Works off of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.*

a) High School diploma or equivalent b) 1 – 2 years previous experience processing and preparing files with a high degree of accuracy, preferably in an insurance agency or brokerage
c) 1-2 years of Commercial Auto experience, preferably d) Experience with Applied Epic software preferred ability to learn new software
e) High level of customer services, attention to detail and accuracy f) Proficient with basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentages)
g) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software such as Microsoft Word, spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, internet software, and Microsoft Outlook.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
