We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift to lead operations in a high-volume meat processing facility in Sioux City, IA. This role is responsible for supervising production teams, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving efficiency across daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead production employees on 2nd shift
- Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, and company safety and quality standards
- Monitor production output, labor utilization, and product yields
- Coordinate with QA, maintenance, and sanitation teams
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Enforce policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in meat processing required
- Hands-on experience with beef, poultry, or pork
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work 2nd shift and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
