What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Porter position at Paramount Auto Collision & Service?
We are looking for a Shop Porter to clean the service and body shop. Shop Porter responsibilities include washing vehicles, detailing, keeping floors clean, keeping the break room and bathrooms clean and driving. Pay depends on experience and will be discussed during interview.
Responsibilities
- Keep all work areas clean in service shop and body shop
- Sweep floors throughout the day
- Be ready to clean up where needed
- Wash vehicles, including performing occasional details on vehicles
- Driving vehicles
- Staying organized
- Take out the garbage
- Insuring vehicle is road ready.
- Clean both bathrooms
Skills
- A valid/clean drivers licenses - Must show license at interview.
- The ability to stand for long hours
- Willingness to adhere to rules
- Good organizational skills
- The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
- Patience and cool-headedness
- A high school degree or equivalent is a plus but not necessary
