Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivables Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of receivable records. Responsibilities
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies through effective negotiation and analysis skills
- Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue cycle management and account adjustments
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions for audit purposes and support external audits as needed
- Assist in month-end closing processes by preparing reports on accounts receivable status and aging reports
- Support the implementation of financial concepts related to non-profit or public accounting when applicable
Skills
- Process waiver requests and approvals
- Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and financial data review
- Effective negotiation skills for collections and dispute resolution
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry (including 10 key typing)
- Good phone etiquette and customer service skills for client interactions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
