What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Associate position at Parametric (YC F25)?
About Parametric
Parametric builds autonomous physical businesses powered by robots. We're starting with a laundromat, designed from the ground up for autonomy. Dirty laundry in, folded clean laundry out. Rather than retrofit human workflows with robots, we redesign processes with robots as first class citizens. We're a team of 6 in San Francisco, working across hardware, AI, and real-world operations. This is one of our first ops hires.
The Role
We're looking for an Operations Associate to execute on physical and logistical work that keeps Parametric running and growing. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role working closely with the CEO. You'll be scouting spaces, setting up equipment, helping support recruiting, managing the office, and solving whatever problems are blocking progress that week.
What You'll Work On
Physical Operations & Projects
This is the core of the role. We're actively building out physical spaces (think: a demo laundromat). You'll help drive these projects from a rough brief to a finished, functioning space.
We're hiring across several roles and need help keeping the pipeline moving.
About
You're based in San Francisco and available for in-person work most days. Beyond that, we care less about your resume and more about how you operate. You're a good fit if:

Physical Operations & Projects

About
You're based in San Francisco and available for in-person work most days. Beyond that, we care less about your resume and more about how you operate. You're a good fit if:
- You've done something like: organized a large event with no playbook, set up a physical space from scratch, or run operations at a small company where you had to figure out every step yourself
- You take a vague ask and come back with it done, not with a list of questions
- You're organized, reliable, and don't need external validation to stay motivated
- You're early in your career and want to trade a predictable path for outsized responsibility at a tiny company
Salary : $65,000 - $100,000
