Role Description
This is a hybrid volunteer role for a Startup EMS Medical Director located in Libby, MT, with an option for some work-from-home flexibility. The EMS Medical Director will provide medical oversight, collaborating with paramedics and medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care in emergency medical services. Daily tasks include reviewing clinical protocols, advising on complex medical cases, and leading medical education initiatives. The role also entails engaging with local healthcare professionals to advance medical standards and fostering best practices in pre-hospital emergency care.
Qualifications
- Medical expertise in fields such as Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, and Oncology
- Experience in collaborating with and supporting Physicians within healthcare teams
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills in medical or clinical settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Licensure as a practicing physician or Physician Assistant in the state of Montana or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Familiarity with EMS operations and regulations is highly desirable
