What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Client Experience & Engagement position at Parallel Financial?
Director of Client Experience & Engagement
Fiduciary Alliance | Parallel Financial | Greenville, SC (Hybrid)
A senior operations leadership role for the person who is ready for a bigger seat.
You knew you were meant for more.
You built the systems. You trained the team. You solved the problems no one else wanted to touch. And somewhere along the way, you realized you've outgrown the seat you're in — but no one above you is moving.
Maybe you're a Director already, and your firm got acquired and the culture you helped build walked out the door. Maybe you're the senior CSM or ops manager everyone leans on — the person who's quietly been doing the Director-level work for a while, waiting for someone to notice. Maybe your CEO talks about growth but the ceiling above you hasn't moved in three years.
You are not stuck. You are just in the wrong seat.
Here's the problem we need you to own.
Fiduciary Alliance and Parallel Financial sit on a roughly $2B RIA platform serving 25 advisors nationwide. We are growing fast. Our client service team is strong. Our advisors are strong. What we need is one person to be the operational and relational bridge between all of it — custodians, vendors, advisors, and the CSM team.
This is not a seat-warmer role. The CEO owns the vision. You own the execution — with real autonomy.
If any of these sound like a day you would actually enjoy, keep reading:
- Rebuilding client service workflows on Schwab and Fidelity so they scale to $3B, then $5B — because the current ones won't
- Choosing which vendor partnerships deserve more of our business next year, and which don't
- Putting AI to work across our operations — we've already started, and we want a leader who sees where it goes next
- Coaching a CSM team from good to legendary — the kind of service clients tell their friends about
- Running Black Diamond like you actually own it, not like you're borrowing someone else's login
- Being the person advisors call first when a transition is hairy — and the person custodians take seriously
Here's what you get in return:
- Total compensation of $100,000–$125,000 depending on experience, with real comp transparency from day one
- A boss who will push you, defend you, and not micromanage you
- A firm whose values are written down, lived out, and used — not laminated and forgotten
- Growth: this platform is going somewhere, and the people building it are going with it
- Greenville, SC — a city you can actually afford to live well in
We're looking for 5–10 years in RIA operations or senior client service, fluency in Schwab and Fidelity, real Black Diamond depth, and a genuine curiosity about how AI reshapes the work. If you're a sitting Director, great. If you're the ops manager or senior CSM who's been ready for the Director seat for a year, also great. Title matters less than the work you've actually done.
Hiring is dating. Let's have a first conversation.
