Parallel Ag is what customers have come to depend on to keep their ag operation going. Parallel Ag work to get any job done and we are looking to add a highly-motivated Sales Professional to our team!
The Sales Professional will be greeting customers and helping assisting them in finding the equipment to meet their needs. Their purpose is to continue learning the business and gain the knowledge and experience necessary to work within the framework of the Parallel Ag business model.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact between a customer and Parallel Ag
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other sales team members during the sales process and encouraging team selling
- Promptly respond to requests of customers and administration
- Develop good rapport with customers while maintaining a good balance of a personal and business relationship
- Review new and used equipment lists for accuracy and send corrections to Sales Coordinator as needed
- Prepare sales contracts for customer orders and submit those orders for processing
- Adhere to the Parallel Ag equipment pricing strategy consistent with company policy and ensure execution of the strategy
- Follow up on all phone leads and walk-in inquiries
- Coordinate on the lot product demonstrations
- Continually work to find product or service solutions for every customer’s unique needs
- Research competitive product information and develop knowledge of competitor products and dealers
- Maintain equipment lot and make sure equipment is organized and appealing
- Responsible for equipment appearance including inside of cabs and windows
- Promote corresponding and additional products and services to customers, according to their needs such as service specials or parts specials
- Responsible for all new and used equipment posting on company internal equipment database
- Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities
- Controls the sales process with appropriate questions to determine needs and listens effectively to meet those needs
- Speak effectively in-person, over the phone, and via email
- Ability to interpret customer needs
- Computer literacy required, including use of programs such as Excel and Google platforms
- Must be able to train and educate customers on machine operations and demonstrate “value added” selling techniques
- Ability to successfully operate and demonstrate equipment
- Must be organized and thorough in all processes

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Occasional overtime, evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.
Salary : $50,000 - $300,000
