Senior Project Program Manager

We're looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead a high-visibility global manufacturing transfer within a precision laser / photonics / optics environment — spanning the U.S., Europe, and Southeast Asia.

This is a 6–12 month contract engagement (1099) with an immediate start. Travel is required (~20–30%), including Europe and Southeast Asia.

The work

You'll act as the connective tissue across 10 active workstreams — driving alignment, pushing decisions forward, and keeping a complex, cross-functional program moving at the executive level.

The scope includes transfer of precision electro-mechanical assemblies and optical subassemblies to a global contract manufacturer, alongside a parallel manufacturing footprint optimization across U.S. and European sites.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale manufacturing transfers or site consolidations across multiple geographies
• Background in industrial or technical product environments — laser systems, photonics, optics, precision electromechanical, or similar
• Ability to operate across HR, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain simultaneously
• Comfortable running executive steering committees and driving decisions at the C-suite level
• Strong leadership across global, distributed teams
• Structured program leadership (governance setup, RAID management, milestone tracking) — not just task coordination
