Parallax Center Inc is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Biller to join our team in New York, NY. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee end-to-end billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review, prepare, and submit invoices to clients and third-party payers
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances and collections
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and payment disputes
- Maintain and update billing records and documentation in compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing data integrity and workflow efficiency
- Generate and analyze billing reports to support financial decision-making
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior billing staff as needed
- 3 years of billing experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead billing role
- Strong knowledge of billing procedures, coding, and accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with insurance billing or third-party payers is a plus
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
