Position Summary
The Systems Engineer will support the integration and development of space and ground systems through a combination of technical integration, project management, and systems engineering expertise. The role involves applying systems analysis methods to define hardware and software requirements, contributing to the design, development, testing, and modification of computer systems and prototypes, and supporting upgrades to ground system software to ensure reliable mission operations. The position also ensures that ground systems are developed in alignment with user needs, spacecraft interfaces, and related system documentation.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Technical integration, project management, systems engineering, and integration advisory services in support of space and ground systems; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications; supporting the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, or modification of computer systems, programs, and/or prototypes based on user or system design specifications; supporting the analysis and testing of new upgrades and enhancements of the ground system software to ensure mission operations; and ensuring ground systems are designed according to requirements derived from users, spacecraft interface documentation, related ground system interface documentation, and/or other sources.
Any Other Duties, As Required.
It is anticipated that the employee will spend 100% of their time fulfilling these responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
- Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or engineering-related field of study
- 5-15 years of systems engineering experience, preferably in direct support of NRO and/or NGA
- Experience with MBSE (SysML)
- Experience with requirements tracking/testing tools
- Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide audience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-tempo operational environment
- CI Poly with clearance
- IC-derived clearance
- Knowledge of NRO systems/processes
- SAFe certification(s)
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
