Manager of ETF Operations

Role Overview: 

Paralel is seeking an experienced Manager of ETF Operations to lead and scale our ETF operational capabilities. This individual will play a pivotal role in both daily operations and in defining the technology and process roadmap that supports Paralel’s rapidly growing ETF platform. The ideal candidate combines deep ETF operational expertise with a forward-thinking approach to automation and process design.

Job Responsibilities: (may include and are not limited to)

• Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of daily ETF operations, including creation/redemption activity, basket file management, settlements, and coordination with authorized participants, custodians, and fund accounting.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with fund accounting, transfer agency, compliance, and client service teams to ensure seamless ETF operations.
• Strategic Input: Provide subject matter expertise to guide Paralel’s ETF product and technology roadmap.

Technology Collaboration:

• Partner with the technology team to define ETF operational system requirements and priorities.
• Contribute to design, testing, and implementation of new ETF technology tools and features.

Process Design & Controls:

• Develop and maintain operational workflows and control frameworks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance automation, scalability, and risk management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• 5 years of experience in ETF operations within a fund administrator, asset manager, or custodian environment.
• Strong understanding of ETF structures, AP interactions, order flow, basket processing, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ETF technologies (e.g., basket automation, portfolio composition files, workflow systems).
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with technology teams on system design and testing.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver with high quality.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• An exceptional team player with strong communication skills.

Compensation Range:

• $100,000 - $140,000
• The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, industry experience, certifications, and other factors.

Other Compensation:

• Performance bonus eligible
