Paralel is looking for a motivated individual to serve as a Financial Reporting Analyst in our Fund Administration Department. Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual reports, semi-annual reports, and quarterly schedules of investments.
- Ensure accounting is in accordance with relevant accounting standards, Investment Company Audit Guide and accounting policies as appropriate.
- Assist in the preparation of SEC filings and related supporting documentation (e.g., N-CEN, N-CSR, N-PORT, 24F-2, N-1A, N-2).
- Work directly with clients and internal teams, research issues, facilitate issue resolution, and help provide general assistance to clients on accounting, compliance and financial reporting matters.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
- The ideal candidate will have 1 years of registered investment company, accounting or reporting experience
- Confluence experience a plus
- FIS Investment Accounting Manager experience a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Compensation Range:
- $58,000 - $75,000
- Performance bonus eligible
- The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, industry experience, certifications, and other factors.
