PTC has created a tiered commission structure to fairly compensate independent contractors based on their level of involvement in course delivery. Contractors who create original content and instruct the entire class receive the highest commission, reflecting their comprehensive contribution. Those who only instruct using pre-developed content earn a mid-level commission, while guest presenters who contribute to a portion of the training receive a smaller percentage. This structure ensures equitable pay for effort, expertise, and time, while supporting scalability and collaboration.

Duties

• Deliver engaging classroom and practical instruction
• Assist with course development and material updates
• Maintain professional standards and course integrity
• Promote a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment
• Communicate with Paragon Training Co. regarding scheduling and logistics
• Support student evaluation and course documentation when required
• Travel to various locations for instruction
• WORK on YOUR time!

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of sworn law enforcement, military, or relevant public safety experience
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least one core training area
• Previous experience in teaching, field training, or public speaking
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and deliver content in alignment with PTC’s mission and values
• Strong understanding of case law, legal standards, and agency policy relevance

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
