System Administrator
The System Administrator provides technical support for JECC workstation and networked peripheral environments. The role includes system installation, configuration, operations, Tier 1–2 troubleshooting, account and permissions management, and support for both NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and various service-provider-managed operating environments. The System Administrator works closely with Government service providers and serves as a key member of the C5 support team enabling JECC’s operational mission.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform installation, operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system removal of JECC-managed servers.
· Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 system administration support.
· Manage user accounts and permissions across NIPR/SIPR domains, Office 365, SharePoint Online, and other systems.
· Install, configure, maintain, and remove desktop and laptop systems and networked peripherals.
· Maintain compliance with security requirements and update baseline images.
· Use approved government ticketing systems and support reporting requirements.
· Support IT operations for exercises, deployments, conferences, and events.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system administration or enterprise IT operations.
· Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
· Experience with DoD networks (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS), enterprise Microsoft environments, and imaging tools.
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· DoD 8140 baseline certifications (Security CE, CCNA-Security, CYSA ).
· Experience with DISA, USTRANSCOM, or other DoD IT environments.
· Experience with PKI, SIPR Token Management, and secure system handling.
Working Conditions
· Onsite support at Government facilities.
· Support during standard duty hours with on-call availability for contingency or mission-critical events.
· Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel.
