Close Protection Manager
On-site in Phoenix, AZ
We’re looking for an experienced protection leader who’s confident, discreet, and ready to take ownership of a full-spectrum executive protection program. This role is ideal for someone who excels in high-pressure environments, anticipates risks before they surface, and brings a solutions-first mindset to every assignment.
What You’ll Lead
- Full planning and execution of executive protection and transportation operations
- Domestic and international travel coordination—routes, schedules, logistics, and operational decisions
- Advance work includes reconnaissance, threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments
- Developing mitigation strategies, countermeasures, and coordinating with vendors
- Emergency response planning, maintaining medical readiness, and certification compliance
- Overseeing budget and timekeeping for protection personnel, travel, training, and equipment
- Managing mobile security, close protection details, and countersurveillance operations
- Coordinating directly with GSOC, law enforcement, and external support teams
- Conducting threat investigations, reporting, and implementing safeguards
- Developing SOPs for travel, events, and executive operations
- Managing fleet and transportation documentation
- Providing briefings on geopolitical trends affecting travel and business operations
What You Bring
- U.S. citizenship
- HS diploma/GED required; bachelor’s preferred
- Arizona DPS Close Personal Protection or equivalent licenses
- Arizona Private Security License
- 3 years Law Enforcement or Military
- 3 years executive protection security driving for executive level personnel
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills & high physical fitness
- Ability to travel up to 130 days per year (no international restrictions)
- Drug- and nicotine-free
