The Team Sports Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for driving results and elevating the customer experience during one of our busiest seasons. This role leads from the front—engaging customers, coaching associates in real time, and ensuring the Team Sports department operates at a high level every day.
From baseball and softball to soccer, basketball, and training, this supervisor sets the tone for product knowledge, selling culture, and floor execution. Success in this role comes from ownership, urgency, and the ability to bring out the best in the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the pace for the department by maintaining a strong, visible presence on the sales floor
- Drive a culture of active selling, ensuring every customer is acknowledged, engaged, and assisted
- Step in during peak traffic to support the team and elevate the customer experience
- Coach associates on product knowledge, selling behaviors, and customer engagement in real time
- Support onboarding of new hires with a focus on building confidence in Team Sports categories
- Hold the team accountable to standards while creating a supportive and team-first environment
- Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, signed, and replenished

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
