About us:
Paragon Plastics is a Custom Thermoforming Manufacturer of Heavy-Gauge Vacuum-Formed Plastic Products. Our dedicated team members provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our customers’ application. Our highly skilled sales and engineering staff routinely work with customers to develop the required tooling and processes to meet their product needs. We offer a full range of services to bring a product from early ideas to production, including CAD design, pattern milling, plastic forming, assembly and finishing. Paragon Plastics is a Division of Ashley Industrial Molding, headquartered in Ashley, Indiana.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee all thermoforming and manufacturing operations, including staffing, and performance management.
· Drive continuous improvements through waste reduction, labor efficiency, and cost reduction projects.
· Ensure a quality product that meets the customer’s expectations.
· Champion to maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
· Work within ISO requirements and assure compliance.
· Direct responsibility for Supervisors and their development.
· Collaborate with support departments for continuity.
· Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
· Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and how to use the tools.
· Excellent communication skills, organizational ability and positive leadership traits.
· Associate degree or higher in a related field of study, or equivalent combination of work experience.
· 5 years of Supervisory or Management experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of plastic composites a plus.
· Prior experience utilizing an ERP system.
· Proficient computer skills with M365
· Knowledge of ISO or TS requirements as they pertain to production.
· Understanding of financial metrics
