Overview:
As a SOC Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and data from cyber threats. You will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and provide timely response to security alerts, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events using security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Analyze and investigate security incidents, determining the root cause and impact.
- Respond to security incidents promptly, containing and mitigating threats to minimize damage.
- Perform threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and best practices.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident response and security operations.
- Participate in security incident exercises and simulations to test and improve response capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls and technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.
