Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to support our transit agency clients. This role blends sales support, order management, and customer service, with a focus on fare media products such as magnetic stripe tickets and RFID smart cards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for transit agency customers and distributors
- Respond to inquiries related to fare media products, specifications, and orders
- Process and manage orders for magnetic tickets, smart cards, and related supplies
- Support inside sales efforts including quotes, proposals, and follow-ups
- Identify opportunities for upselling (e.g., transitioning clients from magnetic stripe to RFID/contactless solutions)
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate customer and order records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot)
- Assist with issue resolution, including product quality, delivery, or technical concerns
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of inside sales, customer service, or order management experience
- Experience in manufacturing, printing, smart cards, or transit industry preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy (especially for order specs and volumes)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with magnetic stripe encoding or RFID/NFC technology
- Experience with secure card production or ticketing systems
- Exposure to public transit agencies or government clients
