We are seeking a Community Outreach & Engagement Specialist to join our office team. This role focuses on making outbound calls to individuals on our call list to share information about home care services, assist with service applications or transfers, and offer caregiver employment opportunities. This is a high‑volume outreach role that requires professionalism, clarity, and a supportive communication style.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to individuals on the agency’s call list
- Introduce home care services and explain eligibility requirements
- Assist callers with beginning service applications or transferring from another provider
- Offer caregiver employment opportunities and pre‑screen interested candidates
- Follow structured scripts while maintaining a warm, community‑focused tone
- Document all outreach attempts and outcomes in the system
- Schedule follow‑up calls
- Meet daily and weekly outreach goals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to OLTL and agency compliance standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Experience in outreach, customer service, or call‑center work (required)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (required)
- Comfortable making high‑volume outbound calls
- Ability to explain services clearly and confidently
- Organized and detail‑oriented with accurate documentation habits
