What You’ll Do:
- Lead program management end-to-end—ensuring projects succeed on schedule, on budget, and to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Own capture strategies for new business opportunities: research, plan, and execute with authority.
- Write, coordinate, and manage winning proposals that meet customer needs and showcase our solutions.
- Serve as a trusted partner to our customers, maintaining proactive engagement and strong relationships.
- Mentor and develop our internal team, sharing best practices and helping to grow our PM and capture capabilities.
- Be hands-on during high-tempo proposal periods, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Travel locally and across the U.S. (~25%) to support proposals and customer engagement.
What You Bring:
- 10 years of proven experience in program management, capture, and proposal leadership.
- Demonstrated success writing and winning proposals for Department of the Navy/Department of War programs.
- Capture experience with a track record of turning opportunities into executed programs.
- Familiarity with NSWC Crane is a big plus; experience with MDA or other DoW customers is advantageous.
- Comfort managing all aspects of technical proposals: writing, solutioning, coordination, and submission.
- Strong leadership, integrity, and judgment—you set an example for the team.
- Customer-focused, team-oriented, and ready to contribute immediately.
