Paragon Force is seeking an experienced Engineering Tech IV to support maintenance, integration, and repair operations for military wheeled vehicles at Camp Lejeune, NC. This position plays a critical role in identifying and replacing components, conducting functional tests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring vehicles are returned to service safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to travel to various locations as mission needs arise.
Duties
- Identify, replace, and repair components; perform functional tests to return vehicles to service.
- Document all maintenance and inspection activities in accordance with required standards.
- Review technical documentation, service advisories, and bulletins to determine required maintenance actions.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to equipment installation, operation, modification, and maintenance processes.

Education & Experience:
- Associate degree 3 years of relevant experience, OR
- High School Diploma 5 years of experience in integration, installation, repair, or preventive maintenance for military wheeled vehicles.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance (Interim Secret required to begin; sponsorship available).
- Flexible schedule with ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, or short-notice assignments.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Formal mechanic training through the military or a technical/postsecondary program.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DD OF 346 (U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s ID Card).
- Experience providing classroom and hands-on instruction for Field Level Maintenance New Equipment Training (FLMNET) for LTV platforms.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components, parts, materials, and processes.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialty tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and blueprints.
- Ability to install mounts, brackets, cables, connectors, electronic equipment, and labels.
- Able to annotate and update technical documentation and data systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain serialized parts inventory, including warranty tracking and returns.
- Demonstrated ability to complete quality repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Commitment to strict adherence to all safety protocols.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted on a regular basis.
- Ability to climb into confined spaces within tactical vehicles.
- Ability to perform hands-on mechanical tasks for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
