What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Administrator position at Paragon Development Systems?
Application Packager
This position will entail packaging applications using various tools and technologies for deployment using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2 to Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.
The candidate must be very experienced with Admin Studio and InstallShield 2015, either VB or PowerShell scripting, AutoIT, the Windows registry, file and registry permissions, Office and IE Plugin architecture, 64-bit and 32-bit architecture, SCCM 2012 R2 Management Console, Application Supersedence, VMware Workstation, and ServiceNow (Changes, RITMs, Tasks, CTasks).
The candidate will be responsible for understanding installation documentation and working with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to produce configured application packages, and then test the packages before sending it to Quality Assurance for certification. The candidate must be able to manage a queue of packaging requests in ServiceNow, and effectively communicate and adhere to self declared deadlines while meeting production minimums. It is also expected that the engineer document development steps of an application package so that it can be re-created or modified.
It would be desirable if the candidate has Windows 10 packaging experience, Group Policy experience, and experience with Office 365.
