What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finish Carpenter position at Paragon Custom Builders?
Job Description: As our in house Finish Carpenter you will be tasked with doing lots of different types of projects.
Job Duties:
- Installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
- Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
- Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
- Perform Quality Control
- Escalate Exceptionally Difficult Elements To The Production Manager For Support
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Positive Interpersonal Skills Used To Interact With Our Team And Subcontractors
- Read And Understand Plans And Specifications
- Self Starter
- Knowledge Of Rough And Finish Carpentry Techniques
- Knowledge Of Construction Techniques To Ensure Proper Application And Perform Quality Control
