About Paragon
Paragon Autism Services is a BCBA owned and operated company that began providing services in 2013. Primarily focused on ABA therapy for children in the Fredericksburg and Northern VA regions, Paragon began providing Therapeutic Consultation services through the Virginia DD waiver in 2024. We are expanding our Therapeutic Consultation services and looking for a BCaBA or BCBA to provide Therapeutic Consultation to individuals in Richmond, VA and the surrounding areas.
Primary responsibilities
Provide high quality ABA consultation services to clients, their caregivers, and related service providers. Work with clients across a variety of settings to include the client's family home, group home settings, day programs and the community.
This position is primarily a caregiver/staff training position that blends hands-on caregiver training, with direct client treatment as needed to maintain behavior change and to support them meeting their ISP Goals. The service population is primary adults with autism or related disorders, and mental health co-morbidities.
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Support Plans
- Deliver on-site behavior skills training to caregivers, group home staff, and day support providers to ensure consistency in plan implementation
- Update Behavior Support Plans after the initial authorization and complete Quarterly Reviews based on the annual ISP date
- Ensure all treatment is person-centered and trauma informed
- Collect in-person integrity data
- Monitor client progress and the fidelity of plan implementation across all service environments
- Build data collection systems and train caregivers, related providers, and clients on plan implementation, including:
- Collecting IOA and integrity data
- Reviewing data and making clinically indicated updates
- Documenting all trainings delivered
- Work a 40 hour work with, with 27 billable hours per week
Minimum qualifications
- BCBA/LBA, BCaBA/LaBA
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Demonstrated history of caregiver training, positive behavior supports, person-centered planning, and trauma informed care
- The ability to travel throughout the Richmond, VA region to support clients and their caregivers
Benefits
- Starting salary of 65,000k per year for first year BCaBAs; $75,000 for first year BCBAs. Salary commensurate with experience.

This is a hybrid position, which does require travel. We are looking for one BCBA/BCaBA to service the Richmond, VA region and one BCBA/BCaBA to service Northern Va.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65, $85,000.00 per year
