Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient seating of guests while maintaining guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs and special requests.
- Utilize Aloha POS system to manage reservations and track guest preferences.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Support food service operations by assisting servers as needed during busy periods.
- Foster positive guest relations by ensuring all guests feel valued and appreciated throughout their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest interactions.
