Job responsibilities include:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, dressing, bathing, toileting, etc.
- Maintain resident stability by checking vitals, weight, etc., and documenting.
- Provide comfort by utilizing resources and materials and answering call lights and requests.
- Observe residents behaviors; paying attention to all details, and report changes to nurses.
- Show compassion and empathy to all residents under care.
- Engage with residents by assisting with participating in activities, talking with them and treating everyone with a person centered approach.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant credentialing in good standing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to read and follow directions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
