Job Summary
Our youth activities program seeks talented, experienced tutor in all subject areas for participants between grades levels K–12. Tutors will work with participants one-on-one and/or group setting. They will also be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants in his/her group.

Our youth activities program seeks talented, experienced tutor in all subject areas for participants between grades levels K–12. Tutors will work with participants one-on-one and/or group setting. They will also be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants in his/her group.
Essential Functions
- Help participants with homework and other school assignments with patience and expertise.
- Ask participants about specific topics or subjects areas that are giving them trouble.
- Communicate with parents/guardians about trouble areas or any other issue that requires attention.
- Be responsible for maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of each program area used.
- Know and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
- Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with all program areas. This includes but is not limited to being responsible for your participants’ safety and their whereabouts at all times.
- If there are Camp Counselor Shifts available, they may be offered to work.
Required Education/Experience
- 1-2 years of experience tutoring children and teenagers.
- Ability to develop positive rapport with participants.
- Excellent communication skills
- CPR certification preferred.
- Proven track record of superior organization and multi-tasking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to participate in potentially strenuous physical activity.
- Demonstrated skills in conflict mediation
- Ability to work with members, children, and staff effectively
- Supervisory/Organizational skills
- Time Management
- Must practice safety at all times
