Paradise Locker Meats (PLM) is seeking full-time employees to fill PACKAGING positions.
Monday - Friday hours with probable overtime - NO WEEKENDS!

PLM is a multi-faceted family owned business that processes and ships local, sustainable, and humanely raised meats to the Kansas City area as well as the best restaurants and retail shops in the nation from coast-to-coast including New York, Boston, Washington DC, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. PLM is also at the forefront of a domestic cured meats renaissance with our own in-house program as well as working with dozens of the country’s preeminent curemasters.
On a daily basis livestock is processed, cut, packaged and shipped via truck and via FedEx. The day-to-day operations at PLM can be challenging and difficult as PLM customers include the most demanding and celebrated chefs. When the Friday truck leaves, everything must be perfect and accounted for. A drug test is required.

- Assist Sausage and Cooked Meat Coordinator with packaging of smoked product
- Assist with packaging of fresh meats
- Separate and Monitor Cut Sheets per individual orders
- Check labels for accuracy
- Assist other departments as needed
Skills and Experience Needed for Success:
- Ability to work well with others
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- One year experience in factory setting preferred but not required
- Experience with fulfillment of orders
- Be able to stand for 10 hours per day
