Paradigm Max Q is seeking a Department of the Navy (DoN) Administrative Analyst to provide professional administrative and operational support to Navy commands and staff organizations. This role supports leadership, action officers, and personnel offices by processing administrative and Service Member (SM) packages, managing taskers and suspenses, and ensuring service members are properly entered into systems and workflows in accordance with Department of the Navy policies and procedures.
The Administrative Analyst plays a critical role in supporting mission execution by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all assigned administrative actions.

The Administrative Analyst plays a critical role in supporting mission execution by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all assigned administrative actions.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Package Processing & Service Member Support
- Process and manage administrative packages, including Service Member (SM) packages, in support of Department of the Navy requirements.
- Prepare, review, and process DD Form 2860 packages, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and inclusion of all required supporting documentation.
- Route administrative and SM packages through appropriate chains for coordination, staffing, review, and approval.
- Track package lifecycle from initiation through final disposition, ensuring compliance with suspense dates and command guidance.
- Enter service members into designated systems of record and ensure they are correctly onboarded into required administrative and operational workflows.
- Coordinate with personnel offices and staff directorates to ensure service members are accurately reflected in systems and tracking tools.
- Monitor workflow progression and resolve issues that may delay processing or completion of administrative actions.
- Manage and track taskers, action items, and suspense dates using command-approved trackers and systems.
- Review incoming correspondence and administrative taskings, route to appropriate action officers and offices.
- Provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders as requested.
- Prepare, format, and process official Navy correspondence in accordance with SECNAV M‑5216.5 (Department of the Navy Correspondence Manual).
- Support leadership calendars, meetings, briefings, and administrative coordination.
- Assist in preparation of briefing materials, decision packages, and executive summaries.
- Maintain administrative records and documentation in accordance with DoN records management policies.
- Support development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and administrative workflows.
- Identify process gaps and recommend efficiencies to improve administrative support and responsiveness.
- Serve as an administrative point of contact between internal staff, supported commands, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with government civilians, military personnel, and contractors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely package processing.
- Support staff meetings, working groups, and boards, including agenda preparation and meeting minutes, as required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant administrative or military experience may be substituted for formal education.
- 3–6 years of experience providing administrative or analytical support within the Department of Defense or Department of the Navy.
- Demonstrated experience processing administrative and Service Member packages.
- Experience supporting staff-level or headquarters operations preferred.
- Familiarity with Navy or Marine Corps command environments strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of DoN administrative processes, correspondence standards, and task management.
- Experience processing or supporting DD Form 2860 packages.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and suspenses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a mission-focused team.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
