Position Summary
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct patient care. This includes implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and contributing to the overall success of our rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver therapeutic interventions to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities.
Provide skilled OT services in accordance with physician orders and OT supervision.
Support patients, families, and caregivers with education and guidance.
Document treatments, patient responses, and relevant changes in condition.
Follow established care plans and contribute to treatment planning.
Attend required staff meetings and participate in team-based care planning.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
In good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies
Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care preferred
Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
