Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate commitment to the Paradigm Health mission, vision and core values through your daily job performance.
- Process all Medicare Hospice Notices (NOE/NOTR) promptly and follow up to confirm acceptance within the required timeline.
- Collaborate with the Intake team to verify patient benefits and consents, addressing potential issues prior to admission.
- Assist with audit of daily admissions and discharges.
- Daily completion of Medicare billing audit and claims submission processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with CMS requirements.
- Monitor and reconcile Medicare hospice claims daily; troubleshoot rejections, make timely corrections, and resolve issues to prevent payment delays.
Experience:
- Flexible, yet organized, with ability to exercise sound judgment.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in healthcare billing - REQUIRED
- Medicare Hospice billing is preferred
- Associate's degree, healthecare billing certification, or equivalent hospice billing experience perferred
Credentials:
- Criminal background check.
