Duties
- Supervise dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage with dogs through play and exercise, promoting socialization among them.
- Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, reporting any concerns to management.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the daycare, including play areas and kennels.
- Administer basic care such as feeding, watering, and administering medications if required.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dog's day.
- Assist in training activities as needed to promote good behavior among the dogs.
Skills
- Experience in pet sitting or dog handling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques for various breeds and sizes.
- Familiarity with veterinary practices or experience as a veterinary technician is beneficial.
