What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at Parable Hospitality?
Oceanpoint Ranch is looking for a Painter to join the team! The Painter will be responsible for minor repairs and painting interior and exterior surfaces of the Cambria Collection hotels using paint, varnishes, lacquers, sealers, and stains.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Knowledge/Education/Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience.
Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: English speaking or bilingual. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Valid driver’s license with proof of auto liability insurance. Dependable.
Physical Requirements: Frequent walking indoors / outdoors, climbing stairs and ladders, standing, sitting. Repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling, squatting, lifting and carrying. Reaching above, at and below shoulder level. Must have the ability to push, pull, lift and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Pay Range: $23.00-$25.00/hour
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for painting exterior and interior areas as assigned.
- Execute pre-painting activities, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and masking of adjacent surfaces prior to painting, papering, texturing, etc.
- Follow management’s instructions in maintaining an inventory of paint and supplies.
- Follow management’s instruction in executing the job utilizing appropriate finishes and applications.
- Comply with OSHA/MSDS guidelines with respect to the use of hazardous chemicals.
- Stay up-to-date with storage and disposal laws, regulations, codes, etc.
- Proper cleaning of areas, supplies, and equipment at the completion of project.
- Assist in storing leftover paint in the appropriate locations.
- Support team with special maintenance projects as needed.
