Position Overview
Para Health Massage is seeking a massage therapist with a long-term mindset.
This role is ideal for someone who wants more than just "another massage job." The right candidate is willing to commit to consistent, results-driven deep tissue work over the coming years while learning advanced techniques and systems specific to Para Health Massage.
As the business grows, this position is designed to evolve. Over time, the therapist will gradually step back partially from hands-on massage to assist with training, mentorship, and operational support, helping grow the clinic and future therapists.
This is a career track, not a short-term role.
Primary Responsibilities (Initial Phase)
- Provide consistent, high-quality deep tissue massage
- Learn and apply Para Health Massage techniques and treatment philosophy
- Conduct professional client intakes and explain treatment plans clearly
- Maintain ethical and professional boundaries at all times
- Deliver dependable, punctual, and consistent care
- Build long-term client relationships through results and professionalism
Expanded Responsibilities (Growth Phase – Over Time)
As the clinic grows and your role evolves, responsibilities may include:
- Assisting in training new massage therapists
- Mentoring therapists on technique, professionalism, and standards
- Supporting daily operations and clinic workflow
- Helping uphold clinic standards and culture
- Contributing to long-term business growth and stability
These responsibilities are learned over time through on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Massage Therapist (State of Michigan)
- Comfortable performing consistent deep tissue massage
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow long-term
- Interest in leadership and responsibility over time
