Family Law Paralegal – Silver Spring, MD
Paré & Associates, LLC is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional seeking meaningful case involvement, hands-on litigation experience, and long-term career growth within a high-volume Family Law practice.
The ideal candidate is proactive, professional under pressure, and capable of independently managing responsibilities while providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients.
Responsibilities
- Draft, prepare, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, financial statements, and legal correspondence
- File pleadings electronically through Maryland’s MDEC system
- Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, and case workflow
- Assist with discovery, trial preparation, exhibits, subpoenas, and hearing binders
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
- Support client intake, scheduling, and ongoing case communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Family Law paralegal experience required
- Strong knowledge of Maryland Family Law procedures and court filings
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities efficiently
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Clio preferred
