Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the chiropractic practice by providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Assist chiropractors with patient intake and treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems
- Verify insurance information and handle medical billing processes
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Educate patients on care plans and follow-up procedures
- Review documentation for accuracy, including CPT coding and ICD-10 coding
- Support the clinic with clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and data entry using EMR systems like Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience
- Provide strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review
- Ability to demonstrate effective phone etiquette and provide outstanding patient service
